DATA AND SAMPLE ACCESS REQUESTS
CPTU Commitment to Data and Sample Sharing
The CPTU aims to include long term follow up data and translational sample collection in the clinical trials and studies it’s involved in, where appropriate. The CPTU is committed to making clinical trial/study data and samples available to other researchers wherever possible.
We are the controller/joint controller for most of the data from our trials/studies. We are custodian for some of the samples from our trials/studies. Please check our trial portfolio on our website to see if one of our trials/studies meets your requirements. If you need further information, please contact
cptu-enquiries@qmul.ac.uk.
Application Process
To make an application to access trial/study data and/or samples, you must complete a ‘Request form for release of data/samples from CPTU trial’. The form asks for details about your project, what data/samples are required and CPTU involvement. Please contact our enquiries email address provided above for a form.
We have a moderated access approach where applications are reviewed by the study team (and other project-related groups such as the trial management group and/or trial steering committee) and the CPTU Data Sharing Committee.
The application will be reviewed within 3 months of receipt. If an application is approved, a data transfer agreement will be drafted and shared with the applicant.
